Broadcast School is proud to announce that Dalan Edwin Decker, 2005 graduate, is
the winner of two Student Awards for Excellence from the Wisconsin Broadcasters
Association:
First Place in the "Radio Talk Show/Series/Documentary" category for his documentary about La Crosse area coffee shops, entitled "Expressions of Espresso."
Third Place for his creative writing and production on a 30-second ad entitled "Mouse Funeral."
The audio was written and recorded while he was a student at Radio1.

2004 Radio1 Broadcast School graduate, David Stoeger, (pictured on left) received a 1st place award for a news feature from WBA Chairman of the Board, Scott Trentadue. David also won a merit award for a news feature and a merit award for "best use of audio" in a news feature from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association for small market radio news.

David is the news director for WRDB, WNFM, and WBDL in Reedsburg, Wisconsin.
